## Before you create a report

Before generating your financial reports, check the following requirements and options.
This will help ensure your report is correctly configured and that the data you receive matches your needs.

### Permissions and access

Users with the **Finance Manager** or **Account Manager** role can view financial data for:

- Their account
- Related sub-accounts
- All accounts under their company (if applicable)

Sub-account users will continue to see only their account data.

IMPORTANT
The new financial reports are not available for legacy account setups. Contact [Support](https://www.infobip.com/contact) if you encounter issues.

### Data availability and time zone handling

You can generate financial reports for up to the **last three months**, including the current month (provisional data).
All financial reports are standardized to **UTC**. You cannot select a custom time zone.

## Create a financial report

To create a financial report:

1. In the [web interface](https://portal.infobip.com/login), go to **Analyze** > **New reports**.
2. Under **Billing and usage reports**, select **Financial reports**, and then **Create report**.

3. In the **Channels and services** section:

     - All channels and services are selected by default.
     - Deselect any that are not relevant.

4. In the **Report period and schedule** section:

     - Choose between a one-time or recurring report.
     - Select a specific monthly date range.
     - Financial reports always use **UTC zone**.
     NOTE
Recurring reports now only support **monthly** scheduling. Daily and weekly options are no longer available.

5. Under **Structure your expense reports**, define how data is grouped and aggregated by selecting the dimension you want to include.

6. In the **Filters** section, optionally narrow down results by:

     - Account
     - User
     - Sender
     - Application (for CPaaS X accounts)
     - Entity (for CPaaS X accounts)
     - Country
     - Network

7. In the **Options** section:

     - Choose the file format (`.xlsx` or `.csv`)
     - Select an external [server configuration](https://www.infobip.com/docs/analyze/data-export#configuring-data-export) if required.
     - Enter the email addresses of the recipients.
     - Optionally generate a shareable direct download link (expires when report status changes to "Expired").

8. Select **Create report**.

## View or download a report

After the report is generated, it appears in the **Financial reports** list.

- **Ready** reports show a **Download** button. Select it to download the report file.
- **Expired** reports show a **View details** button instead.

To access additional actions, select the three-dot menu next to a report:

- **View details** Opens the report detail panel.
- **Duplicate** Creates a new report with the same configuration. Useful for re-running a report without rebuilding the settings.
- **Delete** Permanently deletes the report.

The detail panel has three tabs:

- **Overview** Shows report type, occurrence, date range, who requested it, and when it was generated.
- **Configuration** Shows the dimensions and metrics included in the report.
- **Export details** Shows the file format, external server configuration, and direct download status.
