Enable URL shortening in Answers

NoteURL shortening is currently only available for WhatsApp over Answers. Make sure to select WhatsApp as your channel.

To enable URL shortening in Answers:

  1. Create a new chatbot.
  2. Populate all of the standard fields (Name, Channel, Sender, Language).
  3. You can then enable URL shortening and tracking options for the chatbot under chatbot settings. Enabling tracking automatically enables URL shortening. However, the long URL is reflected in reporting.
  4. Shortened URLs are only shown live on user devices and do not show up in previews or chat simulations. Answers URL Shortening
