Get started with Inbox API
EARLY ACCESSYou cannot enable the Inbox API on your own. Your dedicated account manager or Support must perform the initial setup.
Before setting up Inbox over API according to your preferences, complete the following prerequisites:
- Create an Infobip account (if you do not already have one) by completing the platform onboarding.
- Enable the Inbox API for your account. To activate this solution, contact Support or your dedicated account manager.
- Enable the communication channels you want to use with the Inbox API. Note: Live Chat is available by default.
- Configure senders.
The Inbox settings guide will walk you through creating users and agents (including assigning agent and supervisor roles), and configuring queues and routing.
After completing the prerequisites and enabling Inbox over API:
- You can create users and agents, and assign roles such as agent or supervisor.
- You can configure queues and routing either via the API or the web interface.
